PARISH BREWERY

Parish Brewer award winning ales are brewed in the courtyard of the Old Brewery Inn at Somerby in the County of Leicestershire in the heart of England. Here the brewer and founder, Baz Parish, follows the traditional ways of brewing and was, and still is, a pioneer in the restoration and development of what are now called 'micro-breweries'
First brewing was in nearby Burrough on the Hill (est. 1983), with just 18 gallons a week. Now with increased capacity the brewery produces 720 gallons with each time that there is a brew. Not only is this great example of a traditional brewery famour for its prize winning ales, it is also in the Guinness Book of Records, having brewed the world's strongest bee. Named Baz's Super Brew it was a full twenty three percent alcohol.
